Dear friends –

You saw us promoting the ACT Now: Unite to End Racism journey.

We’re excited to share with you some of the early outcomes from that event. Visit our website to see photos and read the reflections of some of the one hundred and thirty people who made a commitment to journey together.

You helped us spread the word.
You prayed us on our way. Because of you, life-changing conversations are happening .

The A.C.T. in ACT Now: Unite to End Racism stands for Awaken, Confront, Transform. People have been inspired to move from quiet support to action and passionate advocacy. The Spirit was in evidence as we crossed boundaries of denomination, region, race/ethnicity, economic status, mobility, generation, and more to build holy community. We visited every one of our Wisconsin elected representatives’ offices in DC! Our social media posts from the Day of Action reached nearly two thousand people. We made connections and gained new tools for the work.

People are already asking us what’s next. If you want to be part of the continuing conversation, sign up for our interest list or to join a racial justice working group . We’ll be able to connect you with other Council advocates who are interested in moving forward together.

While we have just returned from Washington DC, our ecumenical racial justice journey is just beginning. Your financial support is essential to ensure that the Council can continue to steward this work into its next stages.
