ADAA was recently awarded a grant by State Farm Insurance to help us develop a new Spanish-language online peer-to-peer support community as part of our ongoing efforts to provide enhanced resources for our Hispanic community.

We are grateful to State Farm for their generous support. We would also like to thank ADAA member Karen Martinez and the ADAA Multicultural Advances Special Interest Group for assisting with the translation of the community content. We anticipate an end of August launch date and will send out an announcement as soon as the site is launched. Este atento!

Scarlett Garden Video
Marisa Herrera-Keehn, Lance Rodriguez, Stephen Terry, and Bethany Martin created their senior thesis together - a short film called "Scarlett Garden" that tells the story about a girl named Scarlett who tries to help her brother out of his depression. ADAA is so appreciative of the $1,750 we received from Marisa and her friends and invite you to watch their powerful video here. (please note that the video contains a few violent scenes and scenes where alcohol is consumed).  Read more about the project.

Each month ADAA will feature a thank you note, or a personal story of triumph. We invite you to share your own story with us or share how ADAA has helped you or a loved one.  Share your story
