Individuals
Individual Funding: Available to individuals attending provincial events and pursing professional or educational development. 
Deadline: April 30, 2018

Charlene Baker Western Rider Bursary: Available to riders who have completed their Western Learn to Ride Level 4 test.
Deadline: March 29, 2018

Sonja Burton English Rider BursaryAvailable to riders who have completed their English Learn to Ride Level 8 test.
Deadline: March 29, 2018

Pump Up Your Levels: Available to current EC certified instructors/coaches who encourage more rider level testing in Alberta. 
Deadline: March 29, 2018

Clubs/Facilities
Club Funding: Available for educational clinics/events/programs or projects related to horse wellness and horse ownership.
Deadline: April 30, 2018

Trail Supporter Funding: Available to Clubs and Businesses who have researched and planned a specific project related to the construction and/or maintenance of an equestrian trail, trailhead, or horse camping site in Alberta for public use.
Deadline: May 15, 2018

Pump Up Your Levels: Available to facilities/stables to encourage growth within the National Learn to Ride programs, and who use current EC certified instructors/coaches. 
Deadline: March 29, 2018

Nominations for EC National Awards Close February 7, 2018

Provide Input - Occupational Health and Safety Rules!

Albertans have more time to provide their input on recommendations to apply occupational health and safety (OHS) rules to the province's farms and ranches. 

The deadline for feedback to the technical working group recommendations is being extended to Feb. 26, 2018, from Jan. 15, 2018, to ensure Albertans have the opportunity to review the recommendations and provide their input.

Members Named Perils (MNP)  

MNP is insurance coverage for your own horse(s) in case of death from one of the perils named in the policy. 

Some of these perils include - fire, lightning, collision/overturn of a vehicle/trailer in which your horse is being transported, attack by a dog or wild animal, windstorm, drowning, collapse of a building, new for 2018 - government ordered destruction of horse (limits apply), and there's more!

Coverage is to a maximum of $10,000, subject to one claim per member per policy term. 

MNP can be added to your existing membership. Simply log in and select "Add Insurance, Ride and Drive or Donations to Existing Alberta Equestrian Federation Membership" or give us a call at the office 1-877-463-6233 or 403-253-4411. We would be happy to help you!
