The Falmouth Theatre presents Striking Out: A Christmas Play in Six Innings at Highfield Theaternow - December 14.

The Falmouth Theatre Guild is trying something new for its Christmas show this year, a baseball comedy. This play begins with a family gathered around a Christmas tree on Christmas morning. Upcoming Performances by the Solstice Singers at Woods Hole Community Hall

Solstice Singers present A Mid-Winter Wassail performance at the Woods Hole Community Hall on December 20, 4 - 5:30 pm & December 21, 4 - 5:30 pm.

This lively performance features Renaissance song and instrumental music, readings of the season, English sword dancing and a newly crafted "mummers play". Now in their 22nd year of performance, The Solstice Singers, in colorful authentic costumes, will transport the audience to a distant time and place accompanied by the early music ensemble Passacaglia, and the children's chorus Les Enfants du Soleil. Some moments will be filled with the reverence of Christmas and other moments celebrating the rowdy traditions of song and play that helped liven those long winter nights.
