Cotuit Center for the Arts Announces Upcoming Audition

Cotuit Center for the Arts will hold auditions for The Kind of True Story of Mona Coyote, in the Black Box Theater on May 24, 12 - 4 pm.

Written by Christopher Compton, and directed by Holly Erin McCarthy. This magically original epic adventure from the imaginations that brought you Lulu's Lemonade Stand and Frog: A Modern Fairy Tale. The story follows young Mona Coyote, an ordinary girl who just happens to live her life as if she is the hero of a video game...along with her trusty sidekicks and best friends.

Looking for 15 actors, male and female ages 10+. There are a few "adult" roles which we would prefer to fill with teenagers or young 20 somethings. There is no need to prepare anything for the auditions. There will be a sign in sheet and actors will be seen on a first come, first served basis. Actors will be asked to cold-read excerpts from the script and some actors may be asked to sing. All actors are required to have reliable transportation to and from all rehearsals and performances. Performance Dates: August 11, 7 pm; August 14-16, 10 am - 12:30 pm; August 20-22, 10 am - 12:30 pm.
