For the past 3 years Landis has been exploring the grid through various methods of structure and deconstruction resulting in the grid becoming the primary image in finished work. Working in a process-oriented manner, the work has taken some surprising turns as in the Youngs Court series (2013) where the canvas grids became landscape-like memorials of his time living in Provincetown in the 1990's. The Intersect exhibit is a combination of the past 3 years of grid work.
