Giving Thanks!

The AFP Greater Detroit Chapter (GDC) is thriving because of active and motivated members like you! I am thankful for all you do for the chapter and the surrounding community. Without mission driven fundraisers where would our community, state and world be?! Thank you!

The chapter is in very good hands moving forward with Tricia Brosnahan as incoming President. Tricia, best wishes and thank you for taking on this very important role.

Congratulations to the new AFP-GDC Board Members and the 2018 Committee Chairs, your service/leadership is so appreciated. 2018 is looking so bright!

Thank You for Joining Us at the 2017 AFP-GDC Annual Meeting!AnnMtg
Thank you to the more than 90 members that joined us at the 2017 Annual Meeting & Luncheon on December 7th!  Fun was had by all as we celebrated the achievements of our members over the past year and looked forward to the successes of 2018!  This included recognition of those that completed the 2017 AFP-GDC Mentorship Program, and the 2017 Marjorie S. Fisher Fellows Program recipients.  Congratulations!

A special thank you to our speaker, Douglas Bitonti Stewart, Executive Director for the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation, for sharing his perspective and experience in fundraising.

BE the CAUSE... Your Gift Can Make a DifferenceBeCause

Our chapter can take pride in the fact that 100% of our board has made a gift to the BE the CAUSE Campaign. Passion, purpose and pride not only drive what we do, but why we do it.

My fellow Board members and I invite you to join us by making a gift to the 2017 BE the CAUSE Campaign in support of our chapter and the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy. Your investment in the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy will help support local, national and international programs, such as Diversity & Inclusion, Professional Development, and research.
