147 days and counting till the 26th Greater Detroit National Philanthropy Day (NPD) Dinner (Nov. 9th, The Henry, Dearborn ). NPD is now accepting award applications. What a great way to celebrate a donor or staff member of your organization who has made an impact - Celebrate Philanthropy! Find out more information on the NPD Awards here.
Second, highly consider attending the dinner - or better yet, sponsor a table. I know urgency is king in fundraising so here is a little dose of urgency to see if I can jump-start you into action! The Henry's ballroom is smaller than our previous venue - we may sell out! So don't wait to RSVP your organization. Become a sponsor and secure your table here.
For those organizations that have not attended or maybe skipped a year, I hope you attend. You and your organization will not be disappointed. I have heard others say this event is like the Oscars for Southeast Michigan nonprofits. Celebrate Philanthropy with your fellow fundraisers!

National Philanthropy Day is the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Detroit Chapter's premier event to celebrate and honor the passion, commitment and leadership of Southeastern Michigan's philanthropists, distinguished volunteers and those in the fundraising profession.

Call for Designs
 
We invite you to submit a design for the 26th Annual National Philanthropy Day dinner event materials. Designs must include both the AFP Greater Detroit Chapter and National Philanthropy Day Logos and should be submitted in a high resolution JPEG or PDF format. The winning design will be used on all marketing pieces, such as the invitation, program book and other materials. Winner must agree to release copyright to the AFP Greater Detroit Chapter. By submitting your design you agree that AFP Greater Detroit Chapter has the right to adapt the selected design to event materials.

The National Philanthropy Day Planning Committee will select the winner, who will receive a $250 prize and two tickets to the dinner, scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2017, at The Henry in Dearborn.

Submit your design and form by Friday, June 23.
