Philanthropic Leadership Program - Unlocking your leadership potential in just 2 days!

This unique leadership program is designed for (and with) professionals working in the charitable and non-profit sector that are motivated to become leaders who truly inspire their teams, boards and donors to excel. Our sector is desperate for high quality managers and leaders who can help the entire organization work collectively to achieve the results their mission is calling on them to create. This unique 2-day program will help you develop specific skills and techniques, along with personal confidence in your own unique leadership style.

Leadership is a complex journey that requires incredible self-awareness along with a savvy set of skills in the area of strategic thinking and planning, managing relationships, achieving goals, and motivating our teams. These skills take time to develop and there is no perfect formula that you can use each and every time. This special program format will include a two-day deep dive intensive to explore your strengths, develop leadership competencies and discuss "real world" situations that bring leadership to life, followed by personal coaching and group check-ins that create continuous learning, growth and accountability beyond the two-day intensive.

Strategic Planning, Board Development, Financial/ Budgeting, Managing your team, Personal Strengths and Leadership vs. Management awareness.

AFP Mentorship Program 2017
 
Are you breaking in a new job description or are you seeking an opportunity for professional growth? Take advantage of your AFP membership and get matched with a seasoned Mentor who can support you along your path.

Applications for the 2017 session of the AFP Mentorship Program are being accepted right now, until February 10. A detailed handbook about this program and applications forms are available on the AFP VI website under the Education and Programs tab.

This cost-free program is a benefit of your AFP membership. If you are thinking about participating as a Mentor or a Mentee in the 2017 mentorship program but you're still not sure if it's right for you, consider attending our panel discussion.
