From Survive to Thrive - How Major Gifts and Capital Campaign can take you to a whole new level

Non-profits are obsessed with revenue generation; and so they should be. But too often the story is one of fighting a rearguard action to try to maintain government grants, or scrambling to meet budget by fundraising, or wondering about taking the leap into corporate sponsorship or social enterprise, or trying to figure out how to harness social media to generate revenues. Few non-profit organizations see double-digit percentage annual gains in revenue despite the fact that most can do it - IF they approach the whole area of revenue generation properly and wholistically.  For 26 years, Ross Marsh has been a consultant to non-profits seeking to generate new and/or increased revenues through fundraising, particularly via major gifts and capital campaigns. His presentation makes a very strong case for de-constructing much of the conventional thinking about fundraising and focussing on what ACTUALLY WORKS. This is a FORWARD-LOOKING presentation designed to help participants prepare for the revenue reality of the future in the non-profit world, and to help participants build pro-active and sustainable revenue generation programs for their organizations.
