Tonight on October 31st, a Halloween celebration with the Afro Cuban Jazz Project at the Blue Whale, the hottest new Jazz venue in Little Tokyo (downtown Los Angeles). Changuito was scheduled to perform as special guest this evening, and we are still uncertain if he will show, or not. However, the show must go on and it's going to be an AMAZING ONE! So, we hope to see you there!
Thank you Changuito for visiting Los Angeles and San Diego, and sharing your amazing talents with many of us who appreciate and respect you. We hope you can revisit again soon :)
Also, Havana D' Primera in the U.S.!!
Check it out.
Note; Our original band leader Luis Eric Gonzalez will not be with us for the next two shows and will be greatly missed, but we are very pleased to have Josiel Perez Hernandez who will be leading in Luis' position, until he returns from his European Excursion!

Havana D' Primera
was formed by a collective of the best musicians of the 1990s -- those who refused to throw in the towel -- in an attempt to rekindle the magic of timba and create a better working environment for musicians. Their debut album, Haciendo historia, and a string of riveting performances, have caused more buzz than any new band since Pupy y Los Que Son Son.
