Position Papers

Opportunity to Tell the World

Did you ever wish you could tell the world how you feel about Architecture and its influence on our lives?  AIA Michigan is actively developing a library of Position Papers for publication, education and public awareness.  The overall intent of Position Paper program is to create a library of prepared statements and to respond to 'one-off' issues as they arise.

Theo Pappas, AIA has written the inagural article in the program and shared his perspective with the world on Detroit's Public Transportation in the context of the current construction of the M-1 Rail. (Click here for the article)

Dennis King, FAIA, has authored an article on  Why Design Matters , which is scheduled to be included in the January 2015 issue of CAM Magazine.

If you have a subject that you would like to express your point-of-view on please contact Public Policy Director, Dennis King, at AIA Michigan (248) 310-3960 or [email protected] to explore the opportunity.  We'd love to include your message.
