Happy Monday!

And Happy Opening Day to our Tigers fans!

This week, I am excited to announce that the CEPR has coordinated a premiere screening of the new, AIA underwritten series "Cool Spaces!" at LTU on April 16th. We are especially excited that the host of the series, Stephen Chung, AIA will attend for a Q&A session! This details are below and I hope to see you all at this exciting event!

We also have an A.R.E. event on the 12th and I would like to thank Harley Ellis Devereaux, SmithGroupJJR and Ghafari for supporting their employees to participate as presenters. Workplace support and encouragement is important for the presenters to give their best, so if you would like to give back and help others get licensed, let us know and we will contact and encourage your firm to support you.

Please read the official letter from the State of Michigan about the new continuing education requirements. The article below includes the letter image and a link if you would like to bookmark it in your web browser.

Last reminder: we had great news last week about the National Design Services Act so please read the official AIA statement here and click here to sign the petition in support of this bill and view a sample suggestion of a letter to send to your legislator. More information is in an article below.

Have a great week and remember to contact me anytime with your ideas or if you would like to join a committee!

State of Michigan Continuing Education Requirement Letter

Now that the new state-mandated continuing education rules are in effect, they have prompted questions. To remind members of the requirements, the official letter from the State of Michigan is shown below. You can also download the letter here.
