AIA Sporting Clays Tournament - March 2nd!
The 2018 Tournament will be held on Friday, March 2nd at Silverleaf Shotgun Sports located at 8513 S. Douglas in Guthrie.
11:30 a.m. Registration

12:30 p.m. Mandatory Safety Briefing
1:00 p.m. Tournament begins
Cost:
$125 per shooter*
$500 per team
We will do our best to place you on a team. If there's not an open spot on a team, we will refund your entry fee.

Entry for 10 station competition, 50 target rounds, Ammo, AIA Hat, Ear Plugs, Safety Glasses, Lunch, Snacks and Drinks

AIA Central Oklahoma February Luncheon
Join us on Thursday, February 8th for the AIA Central Oklahoma Luncheon. The luncheon will be held at OSU-OKC from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Our guest speaker will be
Cathy O'Connor, President and CEO of The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City.
Cathy O'Connor has been instrumental in furthering development downtown, helping to ensure the success of the MAPS 3 projects and promoting job creation. She was the point person on the team that worked with GE to locate their global energy research facility, and the Boeing Aircraft Modernization and Sustainment division in Oklahoma City. Committed to the redevelopment of distressed areas, she led the efforts to create the NE Renaissance Urban Renewal Area and tax increment finance district and the Core to Shore tax increment finance district.
Prior to becoming president of the Alliance, Ms. O'Connor worked for the City of Oklahoma City for nearly 30 years, most recently serving as an assistant city manager. She is active in a variety of economic and community organizations and currently serves on the board of directors for United Way of Central Oklahoma, Commercial Real Estate Women of Oklahoma City, the Beacon Club and Historic Preservation Inc. Ms. O'Connor is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City and Leadership Oklahoma.
Plan to join us on February 8th to learn more about what The Alliance for Economic Development is doing for Oklahoma City. AIA Central Oklahoma members attend free. Nonmember guests are $25. The deadline to register is Friday, February 2nd.

Applications for Leadership AIA Due January 30!
Leadership AIA is a unique opportunity for members of AIA Central Oklahoma, AIA Eastern Oklahoma and AIA North Central Oklahoma Section to enhance their leadership skills so they can be an effective leader not only in their firm and AIA but in their community.

Program Requirements:
Candidates must be an AIA or Associate AIA member of AIA Central Oklahoma, AIA Eastern Oklahoma or AIA North Central Oklahoma Section
Tuition is $650
Selected participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and complete all homework. The opening session on March 30 is mandatory. Participant can miss one class and still graduate but are encouraged to attend all classes.
Application:
The deadline for applications is January 30, 2018. Selections will be announced no later than February 10, 2018. Up to 16 participants will be selected.

Speaker: Carl Stewart - Eaton Lighting.
Carl Stewart is the Market Development Manager for Corelite and Neoray brands of Eaton Lighting. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and currently resides in Austin, TX. He has worked in lighting manufacturing for 15 years for a variety of manufacturers. He began his career at Lucifer Lighting, then iLight Technologies, followed by Zumtobel Lighting and currently he has been with Eaton Lighting for 5 years.
