The country's top amateur road racers showcased their skills at the AMA Road Race Grand Championship held at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Va., Sept. 19-20.  

"VIR provided a great venue for America's top amateur talent to see how their road racing talent and skills measure up," said AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant. "Several racers stood out, not only winning their classes but earning special honors for their outstanding performances."
The United States sent 33 riders to Kosice, Slovakia, Sept. 7-12, to compete against the best off-road racers in the world at the 90th International Six Days Enduro. For the first time in history, an American rider topped all individual scores at the historic event. 

Kentucky's Ryan Sipes, competing in the E2 class, was the week's fastest rider, beating Australia's David Milner by 43 seconds for the best time overall.
H.R. 3336, the Colorado Wilderness Act of 2015, introduced by U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), will designate as Wilderness 32 areas totaling 715,000 acres. This federal Wilderness designation will make the land off limits to off-highway-vehicle enthusiasts.

The AMA congratulates the riders and teams who were victorious in the inaugural year of MotoAmerica, the new home of the AMA Superbike Championship. The series concluded this past weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, N.J.

Cameron Beaubier won the 2015 AMA Superbike Championship. Jake Gagne won the 2015 AMA Superstock 1000 Championship. J.D. Beach is the 2015 AMA Supersport champion. Joe Roberts won the 2015 AMA Superstock 600 title. In addition, Gage McAllister won the first-ever KTM RC 390 Cup Championship, a developmental spec class created to introduce younger riders to the sport.

The AMA LongRider program, presented by Shinko Motorcycle Tires and supported by Sena, allows you to show other riders that your motorcycle your preferred way of getting around. 

Mileage awards are available at 10,000, 25,000 and 50,000 annual miles. In addition to the awards, AMA LongRiders will be recognized on the AMA website.

Don't get a chance to ride that often? Just let your miles accumulate over time for an AMA Lifetime Mileage awards, available at 25,000, 50,000, 100,000, 250,000, 500,000, 750,000 and 1 million miles.
