The AMA welcomes Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A. as the title sponsor of the Yamaha AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony being held Saturday, Oct. 17, during the American International Motorcycle Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. 

"From the groundbreaking DT-1 to the Super Ténéré, from Bob Hannah to Wayne Rainey, Yamaha motorcycles and riders have made a profound impact on American motorcycling," said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. "For the company to step up and support this year's Hall of Fame induction ceremony in such a big way speaks volumes regarding Yamaha's reverence for motorcycling's history."

A series of miscues on Day 2 dropped the U.S. World Trophy Team to second place, trailing Australia by a slim 8.24 seconds at the International Six Days Enduro being held in Kosice, Slovakia, this week.

"Today didn't go as good as yesterday for the team," said U.S. ISDE Team Manager Antti Kallonen. "It was kind of a snowball effect where we just had too many little mistakes that added up."

The U.S. World Trophy Team started the day about one-and-a-half minutes ahead of Australia.

"It started right away when Taylor Robert crashed hard in the first test and finished down 30 seconds," Kallonen said. "It didn't get much better for Taylor going on from there where he had a few more crashes as the day went on. Kailub Russell had a few tipovers as well, so did Thad Duvall, and when you add them all up we just gave up too much."  Read more >>

Lifetime Mileage awards for 25,000, 50,000, 100,000, 250,000, 500,000, 750,000 and 1 million miles are available.

Team Green Kawasaki's Kylie Fasnacht and Marissa Markelon were separated by two points in the championship headed into the final round at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Ind.

Fasnacht bested Markelon, the 2014 WMX Champion, and claimed this year's championship. Read more >> 









Feld Motor Sports unveiled the 2015 Monster Energy Cup track design on Sept. 3. The design is inspired by five-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael.

Honda announced pricing for the CRF1000L Africa Twin, in addition to the full lineup of 2016 sport bikes, cruisers and touring models.

The CRF1000L has a 998cc parallel-twin engine and is available with a highly advanced Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) or with a standard gearbox. Both versions come standard with ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control.
