The date for our first bi-annual meeting has been moved to August 4th at a new location, the California Science Center in Exposition Park. We invite all of our AMP SoCal partners, aerospace and defense business owners and industry representatives to attend. We are also inviting Jay Williams, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development to join us. Look for a formal evite in your inbox soon.
On March 18th AMP SoCal hosted our second Innovation Forum on how to apply for SBIR/STTR funding from the federal government.  Our speaker and AMP SoCal member, Dr. Marie Talnack, presented a valuable workshop to business owners wanting to learn how to write a winning proposal for federal funding. To make this training available to those who were unable to attend we have included a link to the video (both highlights and full video) in addition to a pdf of the handouts that Dr. Talnack provided.
