      The American Mandarin Society is hiring research assistants!  
 
AMS is seeking two part-time research assistants for 20 hours per week. Research assistants will be working on a variety of membership services and development, website and podcast content, social media, research, and event support.

Applicants should have a strong interest in China-related policy issues and should feel comfortable reading Chinese-language policy documents and websites. They should also have a passion for Chinese language learning and language skill development. Strong writing, research, and interpersonal skills are also important. One of the positions requires experience with Wordpress for editing our website. If you have Wordpress experience please note it in the body of your email. Podcast audio file editing skills are a plus. Applicants should be self-starters who can work with minimal supervision.

Length of internship is negotiable with the applicants. Hours will be approximately 20 hours per week, timing flexible. Most of the work will be done remotely but will require some regular in-person meetings and events in the Washington D.C. area.
