AMTA-KY Volunteers at their BEST...Helping out!
Become a AMTA-KY Chapter Volunteer

Your AMTA-KY Chapter Board of Directors would like to Thank our Volunteers for the Success of our AMTA-KY 2015 Spring Conference.

Our Continued Success to bring Excellent Continuing Education  to our members is due to the continued support of Many  of our Volunteers.

Message from your AMTA-KY Chapter President

Justin Magnuson

In his first editorial in the Massage Therapy Journal, AMTA National President Jeff Smoot stated one of his goals was for massage therapists to earn "...a living wage." I echoed a similar vision at the close of the spring conference when I reflected on my desire for therapists the ability to negotiate benefits and have a career they can retire from. I don't think these goals are unrealistic and your chapter is working hard to provide opportunities and support to make these aspirations a reality.

One way we do this, what our chapter is probably most well-known for, is our excellent education opportunities.  Another one is just around the corner at General Butler State Park. Other ways we do this are through...

Thank You-
Caren Williams McCarty

I am asked frequently why I volunteer for so much for AMTA. My answer is always "Because I Love It"!  Well, I now have something else to add that question; AMTA is a part of who I am.  But most importantly, the AMTA members from all over the United States, have become my Friends/Family.

When my 27 year old Child pass way in March, I received so much support from my AMTA Friends/Family and I realized I don't know how I could have make it through this without you.   I want to Thank you all for the outpouring of Prayers, Cards and the special Gift Card which we have and still are receiving through this very difficult time.  I love you all and hope you all know how much I appreciate you being in my life. Thank you for your support. Caren (KK)
