What's On Your Skin - A World Skin Project Presentation (4 CEs)

The World Skin Project is the only international 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of skin cancer awareness with a focus on education for massage therapists, massage therapy students, and other bodywork professionals.
In this workshop, the attendee will
be taught to recognize irregular moles and feel comfortable with making clients aware of the dangers of tanning beds and unprotected UVA/UVB sun exposure.They will be given the latest statistics from the American Academy of Dermatology and will receive literature for their office to hand out to clients to educate them in. Therapists will learn how to approach clients in a compassionate manner, refer to a Board-certified dermatologist, and stay within their scope of practice. **In appreciation of your attendance to this workshop, $10 of your workshop registration will be donated to The World Skin Project.

He will explain self-help techniques for managing stress, pain, anxiety, and tension.
