ANC Newsletter - Winter 2018
New Satellite Offices Across Newfoundland
and Labrador
To support the growing number of newcomers arriving throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, the ANC has opened Satellite Offices in Corner Brook, Labrador City, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and Grand Falls-Windsor.

The offices will help facilitate the successful inclusion, integration, and retention of newcomers by providing them with access to key settlement supports across the province. For Corner Brook, newcomers will also be able to avail of on-site ESL training.

Newcomers and other stakeholders will be able to access an array of supports, including general settlement/orientation supports (e.g., Needs Assessments, Settlement Planning, Community Bridging and Connections, etc.), as well as referrals to internal and external programs designed to support newcomer integration.

Services will also be available to help support:
  • Co-Sponsor Groups and their private sponsorship efforts to bring refugees to the province, including assistance during the one-year settlement period
  • Designated Employers and Endorsed Employees under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)
