A Message from the Nominations Committee

Linda Celestino (Chair), Lee Casey and Mark Horton

The Nominations Committee would like to take this opportunity to present to all APEX members the slate of 2012-2013 candidates. Please evaluate these candidates in advance of the election, which begins on 15 July 2012.

A full candidate listing is available here: http://apex.aero/AboutAPEX/Governance/20122013APEXNominationsSlate/tabid/431/Default.aspx

We are happy to report Linda Celestino (Oman Air) has agreed to run for APEX President, Alfy Veretto (Virgin America) is running for Vice President, and Joan Filippini (Paramount Pictures) has agreed to continue in her role as Treasurer for two more years.

In addition, Dominic Green (Secretary), Kevin Bremer (Director), Ian Walberg (Director), and Chris Babb (incoming Past President) will each be serving another year to complete their two-year terms, and by doing so will bring their considerable expertise and stability to the board in the year ahead.

There are four positions open for the 2012 - 2013 APEX Board.

Directors Neil James and Luay Qanash have agreed to re-stand for election, and there are four new highly experienced contenders entering the race (see below), which means the election is very competitive again this year.

Please take a moment to review the candidates' information and the timeline for the election, outlined below.  Consider your vote carefully, and choose candidates who will embrace the expanded scope of APEX and help the association meet its objectives.

We encourage all of you to talk to the voting member within your company and decide together who should be appointed to the board.

For more information on nominations, please contact APEX at
info@apex.aero or +1-212-297-2177.
