VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (January 8, 2015) -- ARTEMUS Transportation Solutions has deployed its new, web-based software, which provides clients the tools to submit electronic cargo information for all cargo destined to Japan and transiting the Panama Canal. Both single entry screen systems meet the requirements of Japan AFR for Japan Import Cargo and Panama Canal's EDCS filing regulations for cargo transiting through the Panama Canal.  These new products add to the solutions already available to NVOCC's, Forwarders and Master Carriers for Cargo destined to Canada and the US. 

The ARTEMUS Japan Solution software provides ocean carriers and freight forwarders an easier and more effective system to submit cargo details in compliance with Japan's Advanced Filing Rules (AFR), which were implemented in March 2014. The software is a single data entry screen available on any and all internet ready devices, which allows clients to access and easily report information from preloaded sources for customer profiles, vessels and schedules, as well as tariff classifications, hazardous classifications and all additional cargo details.

The Panama Canal web based solution is directly linked to the Electronic Data Collection System (EDCS) of Panama Customs. The single data entry screen includes all cargo declaration details including autofill fields of previous customer and shipment data, hazardous and tariff classifications and vessel schedules. This allows clients to readily declare pre-arrival information to Panama Customs for cargo transiting the Panama Canal.
