SDC Poster Presentation

A Mixed Model, Repeated Measure Analysis of Demographics and Dry Eye Signs and Symptoms in a Dry Eye Population

Kirk Bateman, Director of Biostatistics at SDC, presented a poster on Wednesday, May 6, at the ARVO 2015 Annual Meeting. Kirk is first author on the research presented in the poster, accompanied by supporting authors George W. Ousler, Michael Watson, Keith J. Lane, and Donna L. Welch from Ora, Inc. The results of the study demonstrate clear associations between the demographic characteristics of age, gender, and duration of disease with dry eye sign and symptom severity, concluding that all three demographic criteria should be carefully considered in clinical trial design.
