Dear ASID New Mexico Member,

Spring is here, and it’s almost time for us to gather at Hotel Chaco, on April 26 ^th , for a celebration in your honor. Experience Hotel Chaco’s inspiring architecture and design as the chapter celebrates our continued success as a community of designers, industry partners, educators and students. Our Chapter is better together, as we are strengthened by each member’s participation, knowledge, and support. I hope that you will join us for some spring time fun while we meet new members and catch up with old friends. We look forward to seeing you there.

ASID New Mexico Designer Highlight

ASID New Mexico is proud to highlight all the hard work our membership does and all of the exciting opportunities we have as designers. This month we are highlighting French & French Interiors and their honor of being selected to participate in the Design Bloggers Tour at High Point Market this Spring. It's no surprise they were selected as they have a beautiful website and an excellent Blog!

"High Point Market is the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world! It includes over 10 million square feet of the latest in furniture design and more than 2,000 exhibitors - basically, imagine all of downtown Santa Fe just 100% furniture! And French & French has been chosen as one of the 10 participants in the Design Bloggers Tour for Spring Marker 2018! We are so honored and thrilled to participate in Market this way!"

French & French Interiors Blog

With this client, we were working with an extensively remodeled 1950s adobe, which needed to be made brighter and cheerier yet still durable enough to meet the family’s needs.

This adobe is home to three kiddos, and we really decided to highlight the playful aspect with materials that would last as this family grows up.

One of my favorite pieces we got to use here was this beautiful wallpaper mural by artist Natalie Lete, which creates a huge visual impact in the daughters’ bedroom. I absolutely love the large scale and whimsical floral look — get a load of those snails and carrots!!
