A Helpful Resource
Hi Friends,
Although I try to include a variety of information I think you would want, I'm sure there are times when I don't include all the information that would be helpful. So, that's what I'm asking for now . . . your ideas and thoughts on what items might be helpful in upcoming Parent Connection issues. Any time you have an idea, please pass it on. You can simply reply to this email or you can email me directly at emcromer@anderson.edu.
In addition to the newsletter, though, I want to be a helpful resource when one is needed. If I don't know the answer, I'll be happy to find out who does. Let me help in any way I can. As a fellow parent, I know how little information you receive at times from your college student. Maybe I can help bridge the gap. Hopefully, I can be a helpful resource when you need one. Blessings to all parents who love their children. Elyse Associate Director of Alumni & Parent Programming |
Residing in Hartung Hall, the Department of Biology and the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Anderson University offers our students unique experiences to prepare them for opportunities including graduate degree programs, medical or dental school, secondary-level teaching, and other professional areas of employment in the sciences. A science degree can lead to medical school or a Ph.D. program as well as graduate school for research, physician assistant's school, and other various avenues. Anderson University's science departments are equipped with hi-tech classrooms and quality instrumentation. Laboratories are equipped with such instruments as physiographs, binocular oil scopes, tissue culture equipment, various centrifuges, and other state-of-the-art equipment. Not only do students have access to cutting edge equipment, but internship opportunities and summer research employment opportunities are also available to students, especially after their sophomore and junior years. AU students have worked at Brookhaven National Laboratories, Argonne National Lab, and many other companies and universities. |
