Have a say by joining an AUMA committee

If you are a municipal elected official or senior administrator and want to shape the direction of AUMA’s policy and advocacy work, you will want to apply for one of the following AUMA committees for 2019: Infrastructure and Energy, Municipal Governance, Safe and Healthy Communities, Sustainability and Environment, or Small Communities Committee.
Investing in Canada Update

On June 27, 2018, AUMA hosted a webinar on the Investing in Canada program, which is now available online. The webinar provided an overview of the Investing in Canada plan, tips for applicants and answers to municipal questions about the program.
Additional SDAB training planned

Training sessions offered free of charge by Municipal Affairs over the summer are already full and have substantial waiting lists. Therefore, AUMA and RMA are working with Municipal Affairs to offer further courses in the fall. Registration for additional locations will open shortly.

Volunteers… Share their stories - Inspire Others!

Submitted by Alberta Culture and Tourism

Across the province, ordinary people are doing extraordinary things that make our communities the kind of vibrant, welcoming places in which we can all take pride. These people are Alberta volunteers - friends and neighbours from teens to seniors whose generous contributions of time and talent make life better for Albertans.
