Abby Power recently joined College Bound Mentor to head up our Minneapolis, MN office. She has spent the last few years coaching students on the college application process, resume writing and interviewing skills at high schools in Chicago and Minneapolis. She is passionate about helping students prepare and position themselves for the future. 

Abby is an experienced Management Consultant, Organizational Change Consultant and Marketing Professional. In these roles she has had extensive experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training recent undergraduate and graduate students. Abby's work at Time Inc., Accenture and several technology start-ups, enables her to bring a marketing and strategy perspective to the task of finding the right college. She applies her background to help students identify their strengths and differentiate and position themselves. 

Abby is a former alumni interviewer for The University of Michigan Office of Undergraduate Admissions. She holds a B.A. in Economics and French from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Abby is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and is pursuing a certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.
