Northshore Families Helping Families is now accepting
applications for the 2013-2014 school year
Northshore Families Helping Families' Ambassadors in Action Program is a great opportunity for students interested in learning about business in the non-profit sector, for students looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities, and/or for students who believe in the inclusion of people with disabilities and want to spread that message in their schools and communities.
Northshore Families Helping Families has decided to expand its Ambassadors in Action Program to freshmen and sophomores as well as juniors and seniors attending area high schools. Each Ambassador will be selected based upon their application, recommendations and interview. A maximum of three students will be selected from each high school or organization.
Ambassadors will be involved in NFHF events and activities including Ambassadors in Action Orientation, Touch a Truck, Sibling Adventures, Breakfast with Santa and Northshore Families Helping Families' iCAN Program.
Applications must be received by Wednesday, August 21st.
"My overall experience with Northshore Families Helping Families has been great! The Ambassadors in Action program was very eye opening for me and I learned a lot. All of the events we participated in were very enjoyable and rewarding as well. I am so thankful for being given the opportunity to be a part of such a great organization and I am looking forward to another great year!"
