ACCION is proud to host Camera Working: Beyond the Numbers
A photo contest capturing the spirit of small business
 
     In honor of Small Business Week, ACCION is proud to present CAMERA WORKING, its first annual photo contest.  For this contest, ACCION asks photographers to submit photos that embody the spirit of entrepreneurship. The photography contest has five subject areas - people, place, product, service and abstract/other. We welcome photographs that capture emotion, dedication, hard work, risk, innovation, excitement at possibilities, fear, wonder, product presentation, services captured in action and abstract photos. We also welcome photographers of all types (youth and adult) along with friends and family and the owners themselves. 

 

Photographs will be accepted from April 15th through May 16th.  All entries must be received by May 16, 2011 at 5 p.m., late entries will not be accepted. Photos must be submitted electronically at photo@acciontexas.org. No printed photos will be accepted.

 

Finalists will be announced May 20th. Winners will be announced May 25th at ACCION's Small Business Celebration Reception 6:30 p.m. located at 225 W. Poplar St. 

 

The contest is open to residents of the greater Bexar County region. Participants may be small business advocates, passionate about own family business or own product, can take a self photo, have family or friends snap the photo, be an amateur photographer or a professional photographer. All entries are welcome.
