ABC LEADERSHIP OFFERS PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

ABC's Board of Directors is comprised of equal representation of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and associate members. All Board members have an equal voice and work hard to share perspectives, establish consensus and lead ABC.
Each year through the natural progression
of Officers and Directors, a couple of vacancies need to be filled. It is important the Nominations
Committee makes members aware of the nominations process and request any member who may be interested in serving on ABC's Board of Directors to contact the Chapter Office.

ABC ANNOUNCES NEW GROUP AUTO AND HOME INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES
We're pleased to announce the availability of the Group Met Life Auto and Home program, now available. The program is available for members and it allows their employees to take advantage of group discounts for personal auto coverage, homeowners insurance, boat, recreational vehicles and personal umbrella coverage. It is only available to ABC members and their employees. This is a voluntary employee benefit from the employer which can provide meaningful savings for employees. There is even a tenure discount which gives additional credits for an employee's length of employment. Watch your ABC communications for further details, including an 800 number and website for quotes.

ANNUAL WAGE AND BENEFIT SURVEY DATA COLLECTED
The NH/VT ABC Chapter is now collecting data for its annual Wage & Benefit survey. The survey can be completed online this year; it is very user friendly and a quick easy process! Click HERE to complete survey and please help ABC help you by participating.
If you are not the correct company contact to complete the survey, please forward the survey to the correct contact. This year the survey results will be more important than ever! Due to low survey response and insufficient data, last year survey results were not published.
This anonymous survey is the only one of its kind available in our area. The survey data is extremely important to members' efforts to understand current wage and benefit practices and to maintain competitive practices to attract and retain quality employees.
In addition to ABC Members, the results are made available to owners who may be purchasing construction services and are subjected to union campaigns that include inaccurate statements about merit shop wage and benefit practices. The survey results provide factual data to counter the anecdotal references made by union representatives. The survey results are also used in the legislative arena and other public policy decision making forums to provide documented evidence of the wage and benefit practices of merit shop contractors.
Survey questions have been changed to gather more specific information concerning health care benefits. The cost of health care and the impact of the Affordable Health Care Act is a major concern for all members and the survey results will provide valuable insight.

FREE ABC logo stickers for your vehicles, job site, and hard-hats!
ABC members are again reminded that ABC logo stickers are available for FREE. The stickers are available for job site signs, vehicles, office and trailer windows, tool boxes, hard hats and other applications. ABC encourages all members to display the ABC logo and to show your support for merit shop construction.
We want all purchasers of construction services to recognize the logo, understand what ABC stands for and to ask contractors "are you a member of ABC?" and if not, "why not?" Stickers are available in 2-inch, 6-inch, 11-inch and 20-inch sizes. Also, ABC can provide logos and stats to your printer to put on your letterhead and other printed items.
