Edward C. Boldt, Jr., DVM, CVA has been nominated to serve on the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) Board of Directors. The AAEP is a worldwide esteemed organization with many international members. Having Ed Boldt, an IVAS Certified Acupuncturist elected to the AAEP Board of Directors would be an important win for acupuncture. 

IVAS is asking for all members of the AAEP to help Ed Boldt get elected to the AAEP Board of Directors. He has served the AAEP in various capacities over the years and these are listed on the voting ballot. 
Who Is Ed Boldt?
Edward C. Boldt, Jr., graduated from LSU SVM in 1984. He was a member of the AAEP Student chapter at LSU SVM and been an AAEP member ever since. He became IVAS Certified in February 1993. After taking the IVAS certification course, he became a teaching assistant the following year. Eventually he became the TA Coordinator, then Course Coordinator and in 1998, was hired by IVAS to be Executive Director. He was the Executive Director of IVAS until he retired from that position in 2007.

He currently has an equine only complementary medicine practice using acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese herbs, laser and thermography, based in Fort Collins, CO, he is licensed in in CO, LA, TX, MS and sees patients in all states. He has also hosted an advanced equine CE event at his farm in Fort Collins for many years.
