Amiraal Racing Prepares Two-Car Effort for Dakota Dunes
Round Three Super Late Model Series Offers Big Rewards

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA (August 30, 2012)
- After finishes of 13th and tenth respectively in the first two rounds of the Dakota Dunes Late Model Series at Auto Clearing Speedway in Saskatoon, 17-year Kelly Admiraal is seeking a reversal of fortune and focused on the top spot. Having been one of the fastest cars in the series, round three holds special appeal and incentives to come out on top.

The Dakota Dunes Late Model Series and Auto Clearing Speedway event this weekend are offering competitors a chance to claim $10,000 for winning the race and a special bonus. The event winner will receive an all expenses paid entry and guaranteed starting position in the prestigious Martinsville "300". The event draws the top Late Model Stock Car drivers from across the United States and Canada for the marquee special event.

"Of all the races to win this season, this would be the one," Admiraal said. "We have had a fast car in each of the races only to have bad luck on track. We have a great car for this weekend and feel we have a real good shot at the win. Plus, having my brother (Ian) in the race is going to be a lot of fun."

Older brother Ian Admiraal manages the race team and has several starts this season in NASCAR Whelen All American Series action at their home track in Edmonton, but the race this weekend in Saskatoon with be his first start in the DDLMS this season. "I am really excited for the race," Ian Admiraal said. "We have a brand new car we just picked up in North Carolina. We tested it last week and it is really fast. Steve Graham built a great hotrod."

Qualifying will be key as a driver starting outside the top ten has rarely won in this series. "We race 150-laps with no pit stops and 150-laps can go by really quickly at Auto Clearning," Kelly Admiraal offered.

"The series is very competitive and you have to be on your game or you will get behind quickly," Kelly Admiraal said. "I love the track and it always produces great side-by-side racing. We both just need to lay down a great lap in qualifying and then stay out of trouble. If we can do that then we will have a chance."

A chance is all it takes and wining this weekend could be just the shot in the arm the team needs as they continue to climb the racing ladder.

The Dakota Dunes Super Late Model Series is a four race super series contested at Auto Clearing Speedway drawing competitors from all over Canada. The Admiraal Racing team is also planning on making their debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series September 29 at Napa Speedway in Albuquerque, NM.
