Saturday, September 17th, nearly 400 members of
the New Jersey Statewide Self-Advocacy Network celebrated their 33rd Annual Fall Conference at the Doubletree Hotel in Somerset. This year's theme, The Future is Self Advocacy, was reflected in workshop choices ranging from voting, building healthy communication skills, employment rights, and making the most of your DDD budget. The event was an opportunity to learn, network with Self-Advocates from across the state, and enjoy a dance party hosted by DJ Chris Haase.
