Meet Our Speakers
Arnaldo Soto
Arnaldo Soto is an accomplished professional with many years of experience in the aerospace industry. He has been a panelist, speaker and advocate for the development of the aerospace industry in Puerto Rico and abroad, including the establishment of strategic aerospace alliances with representatives from Costa Rica, Japan and Australia.

Some of his accomplishments include serving as the President, Chairman and CEO of the AQST Space Systems Group, former Chairman and Founder of the America’s Aerospace Summit, Chairman of the Emeritus of the Puerto Rico Construction Industry and Infrastructure Cluster, and Committee Chair of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) Small and Emerging Business Committee.
Benjamin Hernandez
Benjamin Hernandez is a land surveyor by trade who, after graduation from the Arizona State University (ASU) Master of Real Estate Development ( MRED ) program, began working as a project development analyst. Benjamin fell into real estate brokerage as the discipline he focuses on during the development process. 

Being particularly interested in the aerospace industry, Benjamin focuses on industrial and office products near technological and industrial geographies of the Phoenix Valley. In addition to real estate projects, Benjamin is a rugby player who has always enjoyed motivating people to challenge themselves. 
Lynn Spencer
Lynn Spencer has served as the Economic Development Project Manager for the Falcon Field Airport and the City of Mesa since 2015. She is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives and leads the aviation, aerospace and defense business development efforts for the Falcon Field Airport.

Previously, she was the CEO of the San Patricio County Economic Development Organization in south Texas, just east of Corpus Christi. She brings over 24 years’ experience working in the transportation and economic development industries. Additional expertise includes government affairs, investor relations, and real estate.

She currently holds her Arizona real estate license with Century 21 Arizona Foothills.
Paul Brierley
With a background in agriculture, research, leadership and politics, Paul was chosen to serve as the inaugural Executive Director of the Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture (YCEDA). This public-private partnership is funded by the AZ/CA production agriculture industry and housed in the University of Arizona’s College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. Its mission is to improve all aspects of desert crop production systems. 

Many of the projects YCEDA is pursuing involve the application of advanced technology to agriculture, enhancing productivity and profitability by applying remote sensing and Big Data analytics to agricultural decision making. Drones are currently being used in projects that vary from ground-truthing satellite data for irrigation management to automated pollination of date palm trees.
