Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! My hopes are high for 2018. Inspired by the Stewardship theme highlighted throughout the new Josephite calendar, plans to launch a printed newsletter in partnership with the Black and Indian Mission Office, and the publication of my book, All God's People: Effective Catechesis in a Diverse Church (Loyola Press 2017), I am excited about working with you to build vital ministry for and with Catholics of African descent.
Send pictures of recent events depicting the vibrancy and hope of local efforts such as youth programs, pilgrimages, fundraisers and outreach projects. I am collecting evidence that Black Catholics are busy spreading the Good News of our Awesome God! Photos with captions will be part of a virtual and physical display in February 2018.
