Empty Bowls Contra Dance

Monterey Country Dance Community (MCDC)

Donated Bowls for the Event
Donated Bowls for the Event

The MCDC is holding an Empty Bowls Contra Dance on Saturday April 7th to support Ag Against Hunger. Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger. At the event guests choose a bowl to use and keep as a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world. Along with a meal, there will be traditional American contra dance with music from the Microtonic Harmonic.

Guests will be asked to donate $15 to Ag Against Hunger at the event. To reserve your spot, go to the MCDC website.

The MCDC is in need of bowls to use at the event. They are asking that local artists donate a beautifully designed bowl to help fight hunger in our local community. If you would like to donate a bowl, please contact Sharon Gavin at gavins789@gmail.com or 831-277-7296.
