WALKING SAFETY TIPS
Our friends at Lifelong Elizabeth, a project similar to Age-Friendly Englewood, recently produced a card listing tips for older adults (or anyone) to be safe while out walking in what we hope will come soon: nice Spring weather.
Use sidewalks
2. Use crosswalks 3. Watch for turning vehicles 4. Wear bright colored clothing 5. Avoid distractions (texting, reading, listening to music, etc.) 6. Make eye contact with drivers before crossing

Caregiver Conference
April 21
The annual
Bergen County Caregivers Conference will be held Saturday, April 21, at One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack from
10 AM-2PM. Topics to be covered include legal issues, estate planning, dementia care, and dealing with stress.

Arts for Life is
sponsoring acting and dancercize classes this winter.
One of Englewood's best features is its
beautiful parks! Get outside for a brisk winter walk!
Flat Rock Brook Nature Center's 3+ miles of trails are open dawn to dusk daily; the Center also hosts guided walks and a number of programs that point out seasonal changes in Englewood's own urban forest!
Kaplan JCC on the Palisades
offers a full-service day program with Kosher lunch and very low cost transportation plus a calendar jam-packed with activities, which are FREE.
Palisades Interstate Park is huge and has numerous programs throughout the park every month. Check out their many beautiful sites and activities!
Senior Source in The Shops at Riverside (Riverside Square) offers activities free of charge weekday mornings through early afternoon.
