Specialty Flights Thursdays
That's right, we age beer!
Here at Sunset Beer, we're always working to bring you something new that you can't find anywhere else. And the newest of the new is a series of specialty flights on Thursdays! Some of these flights will feature a vertical of various vintages of a certain beer, and some will be a sampling of different beers of a similar style. But we're starting it off by featuring an old friend from the depths of our cellar:

But what do you get for your $20? Well, besides 4 ounces of each of these beers that you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else, you also get a chance to go back in time and see what the beer was like and how it aged! This is not only one of our favorite beers to drink fresh, it's also one of our favorites to age! And keep an eye out for more upcoming flights where we'll be bringing you fun vintage stuff from the likes of: Deschutes Firestone Mikkeller Avery He'brew and even some very rare bottles of Lambic! |
This Friday Night - 4/20!
 This Friday on 4/20 we will be celebrating our favorite mystical green plant that grows so abundantly on this planet. This plant has a long history as being a wonder drug, having been used to relieve anxiety, restlessness, and insomnia. But we're not celebrating it's medical benefits, tonight is a celebration of how it makes us feel. Without hops, beer just wouldn't be the same. So we will be featuring our favorites of the hoppiest beers around, and you can be sure we'll be free of axiety, restlessness, and insomnia. We might have smiles on our faces, too! ON TAP:

| Goodbye, Creepy Corner
You know, when you open a store you have all these plans to make everything perfect from day 1. You want every detail to be intentional, but this is NEVER the case. In the case of Sunset Beer Co, we ended up with what we dubbed "creepy corner", which was the leather chair and floor lamp in the corner near the women's bathroom. It kind of looked like the time out chair you'd be sent to if you did something wrong like throw up on the bartender or ask for a Bud Light Lime.
Well, we are happy to announce that creepy corner is now gone. We put up a new partition to help cope with the massive amounts of beer coming in each week and the place feels slightly less.....creepy. So, enjoy the change, drink some beer, and don't get a timeout. |
