Some were just puppies.  

Their world is only as big as the end of a 6-foot chain. Day after day. Year after year.

• SMOKEY was rescued after 9 years of being chained, and lived his final 3 years in BLISS with Jane and John, the founders of our Smokey's Fund. Every day for 36 months, Smokey was showered with all the finer things in life: a warm, soft bed, constant canine companionship, precious canine-human bonding, and unconditional LOVE.  
• BIAGGI'S 13 years of living chained ended this summer, when he enjoyed his first FREE  summer ever. Thanks to Fences For Fido, our volunteers, and your donations, for one glorious summer, Biaggi was able to walk to the shade, rest in soft grass, chase bugs, and just follow the sun and bask in it . . .  and for that, we are forever, deeply grateful. It was his and our greatest gift.
