U.S. EPA Announces Dicamba Label Changes

On October 13, the U.S. EPA announced and issued new labels for the three approved over the top dicamba herbicide formulations for soybeans:  Engenia, XtendiMax and FeXapan. Click here to see the U.S. EPA news release.   Click here to read more about the changes in our newsletter.

NGFA Alert:  Mycotoxins

The NGFA is taking the opportunity to remind the industry of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) current action levels for aflatoxin, as well as its regulatory guidance for fumonisn and vomitoxin levels. The FDA has issued regulatory guidance for these three mycotoxins that may be present in raw grain, feed ingredients and finished feed.  The guide can be accessed by clicking here.
U.S. Department of Transportation Request for Comments

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently published a request for comments pertaining to review of existing DOT regulations.  Per its notice, "the public is encouraged to identify regulations that (a) eliminate jobs or inhibit job creation; (b) are outdated, unnecessary, or ineffective; (c) impose costs that exceed benefits; (d) create a serious inconsistency or otherwise interfere with regulatory reform initiatives and policies; (e) could be revised to use performance standards in lieu of design standards, or (f) potentially burden the development or use of domestically produced energy resources."
