ACI Joins Other National and State Organizations in Letter to Trump Administration on STB Nominees
ACI joined 54 other state and national ag associations in sending a letter to Vice President-Elect Mike Pence and the Trump transition team regarding the importance of nominees to the Surface Transportation Board (STB).   The letter was also sent to all transportation and ag committee staff on Capitol Hill.  The letter relays our interest in rail marketplace issues and that finding impartial nominees and a Chair to lead the STB is very important.   Moreover, we communicated our perspective on the importance of finding impartial candidates.  Click HERE to read a copy of the final letter.

Federal Court Rules in Favor of Science-Based Regulatory Review
Source: CropLife America
A California federal court ruled in favor of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and an industry coalition in a lawsuit brought against the EPA by a number of plaintiffs asking the court to order the EPA to regulate seeds treated with pesticides as if they were pesticides themselves. If this had happened, the result would have been the unnecessary duplication of EPA's science-based regulatory review of the active ingredients used in treatment products.
