Tomorrow is the first official day of summer, so why not take some time to learn about beach accessibility? On June 28, the Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability will host an informative webinar about beach access routes. Learn about Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) requirements that apply to beach access routes in national parks and other outdoor areas developed by the federal government, Program Accessibility obligations for beaches maintained by state or local government entities, and the scoping and technical requirements for beach access routes from the ABA Outdoor Developed Areas Final Rule.
