Update #35 (August 14, 2014) for

48-inch Force Main Reliability Improvement Project:

Alert: Pipeline Project Work This Saturday, August 16,

at Inner Bair Island

This Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, the Silicon Valley Clean Water (SVCW) contractor constructing the Unit 1 pipeline on Inner Bair Island in Redwood City will be working along the levee. Work will commence at approximately 8 a.m. and be completed at 7 p.m.

The work taking place will involve trucks moving back and forth along the levee and mixing/wetting of excavated soils.

We apologize for this weekend disturbance, but this will help us achieve our project completion. The SVCW construction team understands that weekends are precious for all nearby residents and we will have people on site to keep noise, dust and other inconveniences to a minimum.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
