Question: What should I use to clean my window glass? - L. Jaeger
Mike's Reply:
Thanks for your question. We recommend cleaning your window glass using mild dish soap and water. Make sure to rinse completely with clear water, and then wipe dry with a soft cloth to avoid water spots. To clean screens, remove them from the window, and then wash on a flat, clean surface with mild soap and water and a soft brush. Rinse, wipe dry and reinstall.
Avoid these options so you can protect the life of your window glass...
Don't wash glass in direct sunlight. Also don't use petroleum-based cleaners, abrasive, or caustic chemicals on your glass - they may cause permanent damage to the finish or glass. Don't use a razor blade, putty knife, or abrasive pad to clean the glass. Don't use a high-pressure spray nozzle when rinsing your windows after washing.

Majors Helps with United Way
Majors Home Improvement, in partnership with United Way of Santa Rosa County announces its 2016 recipient, Pamela Goodyear of Milton, FL. In its third year,
Majors community initiative, Majors Helps, invites residents to advocate on behalf of others with story submissions for families in need. Qualified projects include repairing or replacing windows, doors, hurricane shutters, or vinyl siding.
The winner was selected by an independent committee of community minded citizens in conjunction with the United Way of Santa Rosa County. Follow the project's transformation on our Facebook page.
Majors Home Improvement is dedicated to giving back to our community. Majors participated in WEAR TV 3's Oprah's Big Give: Gulf Coast, by supporting families who are involved with United Cerebral Palsy and ARC Gateway. "We look forward to this year's new project, and helping to make a positive impact in our community," states Mike Majors, President of Majors Home Improvement.
"The opportunity to partner with a premier company like Majors, and also help a Santa Rosa family each year is extraordinary," says Debra Baez, Operations & Campaign Director at United Way SR. "We're excited that the family nominations and final selection process involve residents and business people from Santa Rosa.
