At All Saints' Church we gather to know Jesus Christ and make Him known.

The Fifth Sunday in Lent ~
"Sir, we wish to see Jesus"

In the Gospel passage appointed for this Sunday some Greeks come to Philip and say, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus." Do we really? Do we actually want to see Jesus? Or do we pretend, feign interest, when in fact, seeing Jesus just might cause a kind of discomfort we'd rather not experience.

And what's more interesting is Jesus' response to this request. Instead of setting up a meeting with these curious Greeks, Jesus begins talking about his death.

Join us Sunday as we ponder Jesus' answer: How is it that we really "see" Jesus when we stand at the foot of the cross?

Adult Formation for Lent-Easter

Many of us have been reading through the Gospel according to Luke during the season of Lent. As Lent draws to a close, we will pick up the Book of Acts! Just as we did for Luke, All Saints' has purchased little books to help you with your reading. Be sure to pick up your copy of the Book of Acts this week!

Gathering with others to reflect : Paul and Cheryl have been offering some opportunities to gather to reflect with others on this experience. This Sunday you are invited to come at either 9:00 am (between the services) or at 11:30 am (after the 10). If Sunday does not work, we will also gather this coming week on Tuesday, March 20 at 7:30 pm.

Dreaming about our building:
How can we be more welcoming to people with physical disabilities?

For the last several months we have been dreaming about our building with architect Colin Smith. This generation at All Saints' has done a fantastic job maintaining our beautiful spaces. But after our successful Raise the Roof on the Clark Street Fund Capital Campaign we have some room to do some dreaming. Follow the link below to check out some of Colin's recent designs and join the conversation!

Agape Meal - Thursday, March 29

Join us on Thursday, March 29 at 6:30 pm for the Agape Meal - a highlight of every Holy Week at All Saints'.  Reserve your spot now by signing up in the Clark Street Vestibule or emailing the Parish Office at all_saints@msn.com.

As always, we need a great deal of help to make this event a success.  Please stop by the sign-up sheet in the Clark Street Vestibule to sign up to host a table, make a pot of soup, set-up, or clean-up.

Easter Flower Donations

Easter Flower Donations are now being collected : We hope many of you will consider making a donation toward the flowers in memory of a loved one.

Envelopes were mailed to your homes, and they are also available on the table in the Clark Street Vestibule. Be sure to print the names you want in the Easter service leaflets carefully (so Cheryl can read them!).

Winter Weather Cancellations

Where can you go to find out if an event or activity has been cancelled due to a winter storm:

  • Check your email. We will send out an e-blast as soon as we make a decision.
  • Check the website. We will update the homepage with information about any cancellations as soon as we make a decision.
  • Call the Church. We will change the message if we decide to cancel something to help get the word out.
  • We also post cancellations with WBZ. These appear on their website, and get listed on the TV and radio.
Note: Even if we decide to forge ahead, we know you might not want to come out in the weather. If you are scheduled to read, teach, usher, count, etc., just send us a quick note to let us know that you are unable to get out.
