Spring 2017
All Things Library
Foundation News, Events, and Happenings
It's our birthday! Help us celebrate by telling us how much the library means to you.

This month, the Foundation marks its 20th year of working with the people of Berkeley and beyond to support the Library. Together over the years we’ve raised over $8 million to help rebuilt, retrofit, and equip our public libraries for the 21st century. Thanks to the generosity of all our donors, library innovations that build cultural connection, improve science literacy, and provide greater access are here to serve our community well into the future.

As we begin our 20th year, we’d love to hear from you. What does the library mean to you? If you could blow out our birthday candles and make a wish for the next twenty years, what would it be? Tell us, and we’ll post a sampling of your comments at the library this summer. Click here to submit to our birthday box!
