(Los Angeles, CA. March 26, 2012) - Rebuild the Dream, MoveOn.org Civic Action, Courage Campaign and the SEIU team up for ALL IN FOR THE 99%, a high-profile cultural experience that unites art, music and activism to create awareness, discussion and enthusiasm for the issues that inspired the 99% movement. All in for the 99% is taking place in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 31, 2012 calling for unity and cooperation in the progressive community.
The All in for the 99% art exhibition will be open to the public from 10:30am - 6:30pm with film, art, readings and discussions presented by Slake: Los Angeles, the award-winning quarterly reader devoted to the endangered art of deeply reported narrative journalism; a one hour film program curated by Funny or Die; as well as a gallery featuring works by 80 artists including Robbie Conal, Kimberly Brooks, Chris Johanson & Johanna Jackson, Sage Vaughn, Glen E. Friedman, David Ellis, Megan Whitmarsh, Retna, Kelsey Brookes, Deedee Cheriel, Matt Furie, Maya Hayuk, Mel Kadel, Ashley Macomber, Deanna Templeton, Eriberto Oriol, Estevan Oriol, Neck Face, Ione Skye, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Skullphone, Alia Penner, Curtis Kulig, Cheryl Dunn, Jill Greenberg and Cleon Peterson to create a national conversation around income inequality and campaign finance reform, fan the flames that will overturn Citizens United, uplift the 99% message into pop-culture and build unity on the left. Van Jones will launch and discuss his new book, Rebuild the Dream. Other programming will include a community aerial art project produced by Interconnected, community group meet ups, activations and trainings coordinated by Rebuild the Dream and a line up of DJ performances from Embassy.

Marsea Goldberg, founder and director of LA's New Image Art, will be overseeing the sales of the artwork with a portion of the proceeds going to Rebuild The Dream to promote an economic agenda to protect and expand America's middle class. Rebuild the Dream harnesses the power of culture and technology to mobilize, organize and broaden the base of people committed to economic solutions that will work for the middle class.
All in for the 99% is part of a year-long series of Rebuild the Dream Revivals. Stopping at as many as 10 cities nation-wide, each Revival will bring together artists, musicians, activists, and progressive voices to expand and inspire the 99% movement.
