Research has shown that when students have certain key beliefs or "mindsets", they are more motivated to work hard, they put more effort into their schoolwork, and they show increased academic achievement. Having a Growth Mindset has shown to reliably predict persistence and achievement. Participants will learn strategies on how to promote a Growth Mindset in youth at school and at home. Hear from Jacquie Beaubien, Senior Program Manager at Stanford's Project for Education Research That Scales (PERTS). PERTS partners with school support organizations, districts, colleges and online learning platforms to identify, evaluate, and disseminate scalable practices that increase students' motivation, resilience, and achievement.
