These past few weeks have been very exciting, yet busy for Allison and her team. Allison had been diligently working at her home base in Middleburg, Virginia to fine tune all the small details and she was excited to show off all their hard work. Just a few weekends ago, they packed up and headed to the Plantation Field  International Horse Trials in Coatesville, PA. Plantation is located in the heart of horse country and Allison was looking forward to competing at the incredible venue. Everything from the courses to the weather was super.   Allison had three rides in the CIC2* divisions: the Business Ben Partnership's Business Ben, Athlone Anto Syndicate's Fernhill Casano, and the Lord Willing Syndicate's Lord Willing.

Allison's week kicked off early with Fernhill Casano, "Percy", performing his dressage test Wednesday. He  handled  the atmosphere well and put in a sold performance to start the competition. Both Business Ben, "Ben", and Lord Willing, "Liam", started their competition on Thursday and put in competitive dressage tests as well. Both CIC2* divisions were massive and all three horses were positioned well heading into the jumping phases. Liam's test even had him sitting in the top 10!

On Saturday, all three show jumped in the morning. They all jumped confidently and left the rails in their cups to prepare themselves for the final phase, cross country. Both Percy and Ben tackled the course on Saturday following show jumping and they followed up their earlier round with another fantastic jumping phase. They cruised around clear to finish extremely well.

However, Allison's weekend wasn't over yet. On Sunday, Liam closed out the event by absolutely flying around the cross country course. He finished clear and bang on the optimum time to finish in 4th out of 50+ horses! Overall, it was a super weekend for the entire team and Plantation was a perfect stepping stone to prepare for the bigger three days ahead including, the Fair Hill International which takes place this week. While these past few weeks have been exciting, the next few are shaping up to be even more exciting!

As she looks forward to the rest of the fall season, Allison would like to take a moment to thank her entire team at Allison Springer Eventing, along with all of her supporters, sponsors, friends, and family for their dedication and passion over the years. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you!
